Adicot, Inc.'s calculators are intended for professionals. Adicot, Inc. makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, concerning the information contained on this website. The information presented on this website shall be used by professionals who understand the implications of the results. If professional services are required, please consult a licensed professional engineer in your location, as building codes differ based on differing jurisdictions. The author and publisher shall not be liable in the event of damages of any kind in connection with, or arising from, the use of the information contained within this website. Any use of this website, including the calculators, is at the user’s sole risk. Use of the website, including the calculators, in any way shall constitute an acknowledgment and acceptance of the foregoing.

Privacy Policy

  • Information you send through the Contact page is sent to Adicot, Inc. and stored in our Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Gmail). It is used only to reply to you.

  • If you sign up for Calculator Updates, your email address is stored the same way and used only to send those updates.

  • To have your message or email address removed, email admin@adicot.com.

  • The technical calculators run entirely in your browser; nothing you enter in them is sent to Adicot, Inc. or anyone else. To save retyping, each calculator remembers the values you last entered, in your own browser's local storage on your device. The Reset button on a calculator clears them, as does clearing your browser's site data. The site also keeps your starred favorites on the Calculators page and your light or dark theme choice there, and nowhere else.

  • Some blog posts include YouTube videos. They use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you scroll to them; once you play one, YouTube may set cookies under Google's privacy policy. The rest of the site loads nothing from other companies.

  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages, under its own privacy policy. We use no analytics and no tracking cookies.

  • You can control your data by not entering sensitive information into the Contact page or the calculators.

  • We never sell or share your information with anyone.

  • Adicot, Inc. has no affiliate relationships.

Conformance status
